Die Stützringe wurden glaube ich ende 2016 oder Anfang 2017 eingeführt um bei Flanschrissen/Flanschbrüchen das ausreissen der Speiche zu verhindern und damit das weiter fahren zu ermöglichen. Wichtig für fernreisende damit sie nicht einfach im Dschungel liegen bleiben! Man kann dann noch ein paar Hundert Kilometer weiter fahren bis ein Ersatzgehäuse erhältlich ist.
Kann auch nachträglich gekauft und montiert werden!

Das Material heisst Dacron. Das selbe material das man zum bespannen von Kajaks, bespannen von Flugzeug Rümpfen und Tragflächen und als Segel Material benutzt.
Ja, es ist Wetterbeständig und extrem leicht und da es beim erhitzen schrumpft, sehr stabil!
Das ist eine Wand von vier mit Schubladen in der Werkstatt... Wir haben hunderte von Schubladen!
In diesen sind Bremsen und Bremsteile, Lenkerzapfen, Kabelbinder, Nabenschaltungs Teile, Single speed Teile, etc... Als ich anfing war keine einzige beschriftet!
P-Touch sei Dank... 3 Monate später und alle 250 Schubladen waren angeschrieben!
Hooligan with Suspension from Cannondale?
That will never happen! The Hooligan is in the lower price segment of the Cannondale lineup. At times it was selling for CHF 999.- To add even the cheapest Lefty, you would more then double the Hooligans price tag! Also the head tube is especially long and no off the shelf unit fits the Hooli. So the answer is never! At this point we are happy that the Hooligan is still made at all. The 2019 model is still in doubt by the way!
When the original Hooligan 1 with the Alfine 8 hydraulic brakes arrived back in 2008, the Price tag was almost at CHF 1700.- and the price and component quality has declined steadily ever since (With a big up tick in models for the year 2010/2011 where we had like 7 different models! these days we are down to one frame style and one model!)
The Oliver is utterly useless for our purpose as it's limited to 30mm travel and can't be modded, also you have 3 distinguished models based on the frame size for the Slate.
The 2.0 Carbon is a contender as well as the SuperMax, but in comparison with the older Hybrid Lefty, there are no off the shelf Bridge brackets available and additional to the Steerer tube that I already have, I would need to scratch build a lower Bridge... which I am in the process as I am adapting a SuperMax for my Fully Hooli project!

FYI: The easiest and cheapest way to add suspension to the Hooli would be a conventional suspension fork... btw.

Doesn't have to be exact as you have so many ways to adjust the fender to conform to the tire... Ball and socket at the Fender and the post, post lengths and post angle, attachment to the original bracket, etc.
Basically place it in space you want it and then tighten down all the different screws... fine tune as needed! Have fun!

Einbau/Einschweissen der Bosch Motor Brücke wäre nicht so eine grosse Sache... Battery Aufnahme am Rahmen... verkabeln, Sensor... simple wirklich...
Bosch Motor ist nicht billig... Batterie... alle Teile...
Eher das Problem einen neuen Hoolie Rahmen zufinden...

Das sind Kenda Kwest Limited edition Reifen, die Gleichen die auch original mit den 2012-2016 Hooli's mit kommen, halt nur in einer anderen Farbe. Gabe es eine Zeit lang in 5 Farben... jetzt schwer zu finden. Meist auf E-Bay!
Cannondale hatte da am design nicht viel zusagen... CSG Schweiz (Cannondale) war so nett und hat mir den Rahmen zum experimentieren zur Verfügung gestellt!
Kette ist nur Platzhalter bis ich alle Gates Riemen Anbauteile fertig habe... (Rahmen ist schon mit einem Rahmen Schloss versehen worden! Und die P1.18 ist jetzt zu einer P1.12 geworden!)
Kommt aber auch ein Riemen Spanner rein... aber Vorne an das Pinion Getriebe montiert!
Ist eigentlich nur "Proof of Concept" das die Pinion rein geht, für ein anderes Hooligan Projekt! (Das Fully Hooli) !
