I'm beginner, but very enjoy!
At first, setting to 135mm. But it too short. I resetting to 150mm at once.
@Lutz: Pretty sure he is not using it for CC or 4X-Racing. Seems to be a Fr/Dh Hardtail and for that purpose the fork will do fine. Such Hardtails have been a trend in the Uk, dont know if they stil are.

The travel from your fork can be a litle to mutch. The most riders prefer beween 100 an 120mm. (Depending to the track)
I like the ION 14 from Nicolai http://www.nicolai.net/index.php?article_id=152&clang=0 it's with full suspension. And sorry for my bad english! :)
