Chainstays are in proper length for long distance riding on unpaved roads over potholes
ca. 44cm as opposed to ABM complite geometry sporting 42cm

Noteworthy a Cunningham Indian vs the shorter Racer model, would have about the same 17.3 Chainstays for all day touring.
