those frames on import back then were quite expensive material

An ABM Breezer frameset sold in the US for 1.600 dollar by 1987.
In comparison a "standard" Cunningham frameset would be on order for 2K (ranging from 1.700 to 2.400 in 89)
The Issue was to get on Charlies waiting list.. although in total there were not that many more ABM aluminum Breezers ever made than Cunninghams but of course in a timespan of ruffly 3 years though.
