Serial Nr.
B9289, March 1989
(one of the officiallly counted in frames by Joe Breeze)
This one got here via Martin @2nd Spin and was stored away for a few years in the swiss mountains

Given there is slightly more weight to put on the scale with the Breezer when compared to the CompLite/MontaneusRaceLite model, propably these stouter frames were all same gauges like the early Montaneus models from 85 when Joe Breeze first teamed up with American in 84 for planning what happened few years later.
That said in 88/89 American changed tubesets /wallthicknesses.
Which in theory makes the 89 model with its stealth upgrade the most desirable year of the breezer if you consider brakes bosses to be best placed on the chainstays for mounting a given brake`s ala Cunningham.
Tube measurements in 1985 quoted by F. Schilplin
(although the Breezer tubing might alternate and could have even been changed inbetween the 4 years of producing this model as they made diameter variations responding to critical riders feedback back in the day).
3,2mm Downtube wallthickness
other tubing strenghts by diameters:
2,6mm & seat stays 1,7mm
Chainstays measure 17,25" that`s barely almost 44cm
