Serial Nr. B9289, March 1989 (one of the officiallly counted in frames by Joe Breeze) This one got here via Martin @2nd Spin and was stored away for a few years in the swiss mountains
Given there is slightly more weight to put on the scale with the Breezer when compared to CompLite / Montaneus Race model, propably these stouter frames were all same gauges like the early Montaneus models from 85 when Joe Breeze first teamed up with American in 84 for planning what happened few years later. That said in 88/89 American changed tubesets /wallthicknesses.
Tube measurements in 1985 quoted by F. Schilplin (although the Breezer tubing might alternate and could have even been changed inbetween the 4 years of producing this model as they made diameter variations responding to critical riders feedback back in the day).
3,2mm Downtube other tubing diameters 2,6mm seat stays 1,7mm
