So... lets talk Titanium Frame!
Do to popular demand and inquires, I want to gauge serious demand and see if it would be feasible to do a limited run or, depending on demand, a larger one.
Working with Titanium, price wise I can't see the price coming down to much but the bigger the order, the bigger the incentive to get the production going and shorten the wait time considerably! I believe its around 12 weeks right now...
The frame is a very close re-imagination of the 2012 to 2018 Hooligan frame and mimics the overall measurements of the original frame so will take all original parts and components that came with that specific model year, including the EBB, the wheels, the 1.5 Headset and supplied fork, etc! You can either transfer all parts from your Hooligan you own and upgrade later or just start from scratch with a fresh frame and use Cannondale parts or replacement parts to complete the build!
To be able to accommodate the Belt-drive and secure a proper belt line, the tire size is limited to 2.2 Inch. (That's what my personal Prototype is capable off, but might increase in serial production!
So the bad news up front! The current price for the frame as its pictured is (Swiss Francs) CHF 2500.- (plus Postage from Switzerland)
That includes a 10 Year warranty on the frame for the original buyer (free repairs or replacement)! Also after that you have a lifelong guaranty for frame damage repairs as long as the company exists that made the frame (none free repair)!
The frame features:
A 1.5 Inch headtube
A Bottom Bracket optimized for a standard eccentric BB
135mm Vertical dropouts with Derailleur Hanger
Frame Lock for Gates Belt-Drive
Uses universal kickstand adapter on left rear chainstay
Will feature flat mount brake adapters (SI adapters will be provided if requested during order!)
4 Alu Cable management brackets
Variations and additions as eyelids and the like are possible but will incur additional cost and delivery delays.
I got several times asked about a Pinion version of the frame...
Yes there is a Pinion version: CHF 2800.-
Any serious order will have to be accompanied with a 50% downpayment as I am footing the Production bill out of my own pocket!
I am posting this do to popular demand so be kind and don't bash my head in! It's not really a money maker, just want to share the opportunity as Cannondale repeatedly told me that they are not interested in reviving the model and will not produce that bike again and decent Hooligan frames and bikes are getting harder and harder to find!
This is a professionally build frame and conforms to all legislation and safety laws!
