Auf Rang drei kamen wie am Tag zuvor die beiden Südafrikanerinnen Hayley Preen und Biance Haw ins Ziel.
Alexis Skarda und Vera Looser hielten den Rückstand zu den beiden Gesamtführenden in Grenzen und festigten ihre zweite Position in der Gesamtwertung.
Die fünfte Etappe stellt die Königsetappe dar und fordert von den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern einiges ab.

Erst wenige Tage vor dem Cape Epic entstand die Paarung aufgrund von Krankheiten der ursprünglich geplanten Partnerinnen. Nun scheinen die beiden auf dem besten Weg zu sein aufs Podium beim Cape Epic fahren zu können.
