Der morgendliche Staub von Wellington. Am heutigen Donnerstag wurde es extrem heiß. Die Königsetappe wurde etwas eingekürzt, um die brühende Mittagshitze zu umgehen.

Hans Becking ließ zu Beginn nicht locker. Buff Megamo wollte einmal mehr die Konkurrenz unter Druck setzen. Am Ende mussten sie ihrem hohen Tempo selbst etwas Tribut zollen.

Simon Stiebjahn und Jakob Hartmann im Anstieg. Das Singer Racing Team würde gerne einmal unter den Top 3 landen. Aktuell fehlt dem deutschen Duo noch einen Ticken dafür. Heute wurde es Platz 7.

In der Gesamtwertung hat sich erstmal nichts getan. Anne Terpstra und Nicole Koller sind weiterhin vorne, doch ihr Vorsprung beträgt gerade einmal 2:31 Minuten!
