Wes told me he didn't like the riding characteristic of his pre custom-Ibis Ritchey b model that much at all, but he installed a type2 fork anyhow to adapt for what was possible before giving up on it.. in favor of his own custom made tig frame which still being a relatively traditional geometry at the time however more compact that many in the market.
