Nachdem auch die beiden Gesamtführenden Haley Batten und Sofia Gomez defektbedingt Zeit verloren, fanden sich Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (vorne) und Robyn de Groot (hinten) alleine an der Spitze wieder

Insbesondere das Toyota-Ninetynine-Specialized-Team blieb stets in Reichweite und konnte nach einem Sturz von Lukas Baum auf einem Trail an der Spitze wieder aufschließen
Das auch zunächst mit Erfolg: Das Speed Company Racing-Duo konnte sich tatsächlich erneut von allen anderen Teams lösen, jedoch blieb der Vorsprung dieses Mal deutlich geringer
