Bei den Damen gab es keine Verluste zu vermelden, jedoch sollte während der Etappe einiges passieren
Nachdem Vortagessieger Martin Stosek in der Nacht von der dritten auf die vierte Etappe Magenprobleme erlitt, konnte das bis dato zweitplatzierte Duo in der Herrenkategorie um Weltmeister Andreas Seewald nicht mehr zum Start antreten
