Joe Murray was riding an Koski Trailmaster in very early days with a forkdesign which he must have liked a lot (as many ohers), so much so that when he was asked to come up with a fork for Kona he mimicked the dropouts of that original TrackTwo.

J.M. took the same raw material as Cunningham made his first Type2 forks of and had the Ishiwata tubing custom bend to end of up with a complete set of unicrown forklegs the way Charlie would have drawn them up.

Undrilled (in the crown area) versions of this fork were scarce and usually found on Brodie B series sales or other rare bikes.
