We haven't been able to verify the new bike's head angle, but the 26" version sat at a very slack 62 degrees. Adding offset to the crown increases the amount of rake, which in turn decreases the amount of trail, a change that should quicken up the bike's steering without losing the benefits of the slack head angle.
