Cool man, thank you very much for the detailed answer, it's a big help! Apart from the Torque, I have the Canyon Strive CF (2017) which I use for climbing and more pedally type of trails. So, I'm really not caring for the seat angle on the Torque. In fact I removed the internal dropper post and bought a regular seat post and slapped a DH saddle, and then I bought a cheap Brand X external dropper post for the cases I go for a ride with my wife and she is using the Strive. For the last couple of weeks I have watched a ton of videos and articles related to the Mullet bikes, and if it is done properly (take a 27.5" bike and put a 29" wheel in front) 90% of the cases people have decided to keep that setup. Thank you again, I'm going to check out now the link that you gave me....
Hi man, I also have a Canyon Torque (AL 7.0) and I'm seriously considering turning it into a mullet bike by swapping the 180mm Fox 36 with the new Fox 38 (170 mm). I'm not planning on putting any new headset. I searched all around the net about more people who have turned their Torques into mullet bikes but could not find anyone else. I can see that you have done it almost one year ago and I would really like to know your long-term opinion on how the bike performs. I am riding mostly enduro type of trails in here with a lot of chattery rocks and loose turns, but I'm also planning on taking this bike to Morzine for the future...
