123 schwere Kilometer stellten sich den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer in den Weg auf der ersten Transferetappe des Cape Epic 2022 vom Lourensford Wine Estate nach Greyton
Dadurch, dass de Groot und Ferrand-Prévot tags zuvor einen Dämpfer mit einem Rückstand von fast 10 Minuten erleben mussten, bleibt die Gesamtführung jedoch beim amerikanisch-argentinischen Duo
Dann zündeten jedoch Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (vorne) und Robyn de Groot (hinten) den Turbo und stürmten auf und davon: Mit fast drei Minuten Vorsprung sicherten sich beide schließlich den Etappensieg
