Myth is Steve got all these via Suntour, albeit Him & Charlie were making their own from scratch/metal supplies previously in days of the old lighting hole rollercams (these had oversized bushings without the later wtb-speedmaster stainless adapters)
Anyhow these are going to be filed down significantly do get the brakearms as close as possible to frame-tubing surface curvaure..
the smaller diameter stainless-sleeve capped suntour bosses are period correct to the frame... with a rather small degree of more flex,.... even on Charlies Phoenix these are found in the rear, as opposed to the front where like here ! oversized is in use....
